A unique, fully renovated old schoolhouse on Tahko's quieter west side, just 6 km from the slopes. We sleep 2 to 29 guests — with a private gym hall, log sauna and hot tub.

Wanha Koulu ("the Old School") is a former village schoolhouse, renovated into characterful accommodation among the ice-age ridges and forest west of Tahko. You stay in complete peace, yet just six kilometres from the Länsirinteet slopes. Whether you're travelling as a family, a group of friends, or a large party, there's a space here sized to fit.

Choose your space

Family Apartment — a spacious four-bedroom apartment for 8+3 guests, with its own sauna and fireplace.

Onnela — a large family apartment for up to 10+7, with a private gym hall for the kids plus a log sauna and hot tub in the yard. Combine it with the Family Apartment to sleep 20+9.

Caretaker's Studio — a compact 20 m² studio for two, restored in the school's original spirit.

Lakeside Cabin and Small Lakeside Cabin — your own cabin by the water, a short walk from the school.

Caravan & camping — Tahko's only caravan and tent park, with electric pitches, a service building and a bookable sauna.
